I highly enjoyed this story! It's one I would have been happy seeing continue longer. I'll rate it 4/5 for now and might update it later as a higher rating, depending on how the rest of the stories play out.

This is much more what I expected from this book. It should have been the 1st story of the collection rather than crappy Room 24. I liked having a different perspective of what it was like to be in the midst of the plague. A neat take on the way Mother Abigail and Flagg connected with people. This 100% felt like it could be canon from The Stand. Three stars for now, but might bump it to 4 later.

Not a great way to start this anthology. 😕 This story was confusing, weird, unnecessarily sexual, and morbid. I did not like any of the characters. I have found that I'm not fond of unreliable narrators, which this had. The timeline was unclear, and the whole superflu aspect was rushed and felt like an afterthought. Really hoping this is just a low point in an otherwise solid collection.
