Ilya finally told someone and it was Svetlana! I’m so happy he was able to tell someone it reminded me of when Rose found out Shane was gay in their last book

Yesss Ilya and Shane stood up to Crowell, the commissioner of the NHL. Thank god he’s sooo annoying and very corrupt

Shane proposed!!!! I’m so happy and Ilya seems happier but he still hasn’t told Shane about his depression and stuff. But the plane crash chapter still got me even though I knew it happened from the last book. I was stressed😭

God this just makes my heart hurt for Ilya. Like Shane really pmo when they fought and he asked would you give up hockey for me? Like sir have you been paying attention to anything???? But he realized he was wrong and Ilya told him he is in therapy so hopefully he chills tf out and starts being nicer to Ilya🙏 like Shane is lowkey a man child in this book

Finally Troy has been introduced into the story. Things should get better for Ilya I’m hoping🙏

That chapter was happier lol. The only thing I’m struggling with is I feel like in real life fans would have been shipping them together especially after the documentary came out. Maybe that comes later but that would be interesting to see if that occurred amongst the fans.

Omg Ilya balling crying after Shane left on Halloween has me so sad. He is starting to go to therapy though which I think will be good for him🙏

Aww the wedding that Hayden’s kids did for them was so adorable🥰🥰 but then Shane asking Ilya if he was feeling ok and he just said yes but he’s not😫💔💔

So I’m realizing this book doesn’t take place right after the last one. So Troy is not on Ilya’s team yet which makes me feel better because I know they started winning more which I hope makes Ilya feel a little better😔 I just feel so bad for both of them

I feel so bad for both of them. They are struggling with hiding themselves but not telling eachother, Ilya especially. It just makes me sad for them😢
