...So, I think I've figured out the eventual "twist" to this story already...possibly two of them. I also don't know how much I like the MC. She makes a LOT of very biased assumptions about people, and overestimates herself in certain ways despite talking CONSTANTLY about how she's a failure/disappointment and her magic just doesn't exist.
