I thought I knew where it was going to ahead after the teases from the prologue, and in some ways it did, but it went down another direction that I wasn’t even aware expecting that’s heading into the fantasy side. I know Maas are all supposed to connect and I think in a way I know how with mentions of portals and worlds. It makes me even more excited going forward in this series. Plus there’s so much more.
