Overall it was a solid four bc of those problems. I don’t know why cassia and braeton left just to come back. Also with all six povs some relationships feel rushed. Amalia and Rhys feels solid bc they got a whole book to themselves. Cassia and braeton are just a sped up version. Aeron and seraphina are just leftovers that aid to the plot just slightly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall is was good but the addition of Aeron and seraphinas pov felt unnecessary at times. We get background from hers but their romance felt kinda forced and random and slightly repetitive. The plot moved slowly. The only thing that happened was at the end when the king died and Rhys was crowned. Other than that the trip that cassia and Braeton took was a complete waste of time. They came back right after.

This book introduces seraphina and aerons pov which felt a little crowded and repetitive. It’s still good but I don’t see the point in adding them in as a couple. It takes time away from the main four
