This is the wittiest, dark humored book ever! Definitely the height of Dickens. I love hating Mr Bumble and Fagin and Oliver is very cute and lovable. Nancy is so awesome btw. There are some really sad parts like when Oliver’s a mute and the workhouse woman dies of starvation. Or when Oliver’s mother gets fun of. This is like a satire of the cruelty of the 1800s and I LOVE it!
