Has anybody noticed that many of Patrick Whites' characters are sexual pervert and weirdos? The stories so far include a married couple who never have sex, another couple who only do it twice a year on Christmas and Easter, and other couples who are total nymphos and do it at the office and out in the forest, with the staff. These short stories are full of people whose religious, societal and sexual values are crazy.
