I really enjoyed this series, so much so I read them back to back (and maybe that was part of the problem). The longer this book went on, the harder I had to work to wade through if. There was too much lore-repeating and cyclic character flaws (read: different characters making the same stupid fucking decisions, which are more stupid than in the previous book because this time they knew it would badly hurt pack).

Another hero play by Gavin, when the whole arch has been about rescuing Gavin from his last hero play.
