Boring

I am constantly blind-sided by the very bright flashes of brilliance in this extremely mediocre book. His prose is trying way too hard to sound literary and profound, by the way. Also, the swearing makes me laugh. I should add an extra star onto my future review just for the way John gets verbally abused by The Voice.
