How much surveillance do Mother and Father have over Millie? I originally thought it was just GPS tracking but apparently they also knew that Oliver walked with Millie to the bus stop too? If they kept such a close look on her then why wouldn’t they know right away that she bought a phone/something from Target, and that she spent quite some time dawdling in front of the police station at the beginning of the book?
