prob the worst insult i can give a book/writer
is to say ironically and emphatically
that the story was boring.

this was fucking boring.

my last note will be these stupid book cover photos

the thought that at least one person made them for this series
slapping together the clocks and the modern dressed characters
there was such little effort put into it it’s laughable.

and then i can’t imagine how many more ppl worked to get this published for even more ppl to see.

i could never do something so embarrassing.

so i finished the last few chapters just now
noon the next day since i fell asleep last night

another sign that this book failed to keep my attention and interest

it was a meh ending

will i read marian’s story? yes

prob in a few days idk
maybe i’ll force myself(not a hardship) to wait a week or longer so the memory of how shitty this writing is will have faded more

bc the ones ive read were absolute dog shite

but it’s been a while and ive the memory of a goldfish

i’m on chapter four already
and literally no fucking build up to the fmc already having met the mmc

i had to reread the blurb to see if there was a diff mmc name
but nope

truly shit storytelling here
