Ambitious but really holding itself together. A very good book so far.

It's kinda funny when things get serious because the prose gets super heavy-handed. "Another one of those deafening cracks fills the space, reality sways a moment longer before it normalizes, and—praise all the angels that ever graced the heavens—the bellowing white noise at long last concludes its forever chorus."

The catharsis in this book makes me feel kinda funny.
