Look, it's not a serious or deep book, and it doesn't particularly work as a heist novel either, but it's FUN. I enjoy my found-family of criminal, tea-drinking vampires-&-friends. It's enjoyable, so far it makes sense as a sequel (same issues and themes, and working on threads/plots set up in book one not random new ones), it's doing what I expected it to do. Sometimes that's really all you want or need from a book.
