Spectre of the Past convinced me that Pellaeon was actually a pretty neat guy. I think this book has convinced me to add him to the favorite character list. XDD I'm so tempted to reread the other books where he appears, because I doubt I'll ever view him the same way again.

Gosh I love Timothy Zahn's worldbuilding. The Qom Qae/Jha are actually really cool. Most SW books I've read are either really good or really weird, but Zahn manages to take bizarre worldbuilding ideas and then write them in a way that makes sense. Idk about you, but I wouldn't have expected a race of sentient bats to be so interesting. XDXD

Wasn't planning on reading this yet, but I read like 3 chapters of Rising From the Galaxy and my brain went "no, no, too much romantic tension, take me back to Timothy Zahn land." XDXD
I swear I'm counting down the pages till Car'das shows up. He was one of my favorite characters in Outbound Flight, and I can't wait to see him again.
