Ok I haven’t commented before now but I need to say that this book is not what I expected - and not in a good way. :(
Multiple times, I’ve thought maybe I should DNF it but have persevered instead.
I’m about 75% of the way through so ofc I will finish it, but I doubt I will read the second book in the duology. Just sayin’
