Now the good part! How Cocacola wins vs homo sapiens:
1. A good amount of caffeine (and cocaine back in the day)
2. Phosphoric acid
Both extremely bitter, allowing for
3. A buttload of sugar (an amount that would make us sick on its own, our bodies don’t want that much sugar)
Convincing our brains that this is a massively nutritional food (it bas so many calories after all!)

The chapter on exercise is 🔥 basically hunters gatherers on avg spend the same energy as a sedentary modern day worker. When we exercise, our bodies adapt by spending less energy on other bodily functions like immunity/reproduction, which is actually good as these systems need a break, and it is theorized this is where lots if exercise benefits come from.
