“you should have known your employee’s physical condition” — no, i’m sorry, but an employer doesn’t go around investigating whether someone is pregnant or not; expecting the employer to “just know” isn’t realistic or fair, even legally. it’s the employee’s responsibility to communicate it, also for consistency.
