This is fairly obviously an essay on the study of future policing, and while interesting, I feel like the narrative just isn't falling into place like the previous book.

Definitely having a much tougher time getting through this one than with Halting State (which I couldn't put down). Though maybe it would pick up by now, but just not connecting with any of the characters.
