After more research & them having a conversation of the sorcerer, they discovered he might have used methods from an extinct culture that used labyrinths to hold off the empire from taking control for 10 years. At the center lies their greatest treasure, in this case it could be the code book for the text the sorcerer left behind. The group heads for the maze greenhouse & it doesn't take long before disaster strikes.

Terlu shared her story with Lotti, the talking rose, & Yarrow. Yarrow led them into the greenhouse where Terlu realized due to Lotti's actions that plants in the greenhouse were supposed to be alive, like Caz. Yarrow gives her the letter that was sent with her to the island & it was signed by the head librarian she knew. Terlu knew what she was sent to do & the team set off exploring the sorcerer's home for answers.

Yarrow has helped Terlu very minimally. He was kind to let her rest at his cottage but the next day he told her to find her own cottage & that he couldn't take time away from the plants to help her rebuild one. To her dismay Terlu explores the cottages & clams a blue one. Exploring more she finds a stone 2-story house where she discovers it was the sorcerers. She waters a single plant on the work table & it speaks.

Terlu was turned into a wooden statue as punishment for creating Caz, & he found Kiela after. While transformed Terlu kept her conscious & drifted through time in her state until she one day all of a sudden transformed back human. She finds a very large green house, explores it to find a gardener. He admits to releasing her but he is not a sorcerer, he was sent Terlu & the spell. She’s left with many questions.
