This book is as compelling and awesome as the first (so far) but is it just me or is Vin getting /too/ good at everything? It's a common problem on stories that have a predominantly male cast and a lone female. Not that Vin doesn't have any flaws, she's still complex as a character compared to most I've read of late, but that thing about the handwriting? Really?

Overall storytelling is still awesome though.
