This book is doing a great job as PISSING ME OFF. I really thought Ozzie was going to be a good cop but he’s just as corrupt as the rest of them! And then come find out the poor kid, Keira, is freaking pregnant!

“Can they treat him like an adult, put his ass on death row?” Are you kidding me? Where is your humanity, the “victim” was a violent drunk that beat on his GF and her children, CHILDREN! He had what was coming, given that the kid is SIXTEEN he thought that was the way to protect his sister. Have a freaking heart.

I already know it is going to be one of those books that tug at my heart strings and raise my blood pressure. I’ve only been able to read for 43 min. Up to Chapter 3 but so far I admire the way the author is attacking hard, REAL, subjects—domestic abuse.
