Definitely picked up, nice to see the Dickensian commentary on industrial-age Britain finally appear. Also curious (for the first time in Dickensian readings) that the main character (I think) is a female! It’s refreshing and definitely provides a different edge versus the other novels I’ve read/listened to.

Glad I let this continue to burn, because it has picked up and got me hooked on Nelly, Quilp, Kitt, and Dick.

Listening to via Audible as part of complete Charles Dickens novel collection.

So far it’s not quite grabbing me like the other Dickens books I’ve read/listened to. Still giving it a go though.
