Finally jumping back into this one. Tonally it feels like a combo of Hotel Transylvania and A Series of Unfortunate Events to me, which is interesting since I've largely seen it compared the the franchise that shall not be named. Probably a 3 in terms of personal enjoyment for me but a 4 when keeping the intended target audience in mind (reading to broaden my knowledge of more recent middle grade for work)

Enjoying the tone and humor of this so far, but it does feel like it's throwing a lot of nonsense words at you without explanation on every page so I have no guesses yet as to where the story is going. Only about 4 hours left according to Kindle though so it will be a fast read!
