Oh my gosh, El is an outstanding character. Chloe literally offered her pretty much everything she’s wanted for the past six years, but she declined. El has principles; she knows that none of the enclavers truly care about her. She’s sticking to her alliance with Adhya and Liu, because they’re willing to put their lives on the line for her and vice versa. This is a great example of El’s empathy.
