completed Book 1. The 3rd edition of EN is so heavily annotated that the reading is quite difficult. It took me 12 hours of extra reading (all included in the book) to get started.
Aristotle's way of inquiry is quite refreshing. He is looking for the ultimate good. Not only does he give importance to the general opinions but he also uses them as tools to look for the truth.

EN (Nicomachean Ethics) is by far one of the most relevant texts I have come across. It looks directly into human functions and decisions and explores the origin, nature, and functioning of virtues in a fuller depth.
