Hope I will get time to remark on substance in the proper review, but this is another victim of the ChatGPT prose effect - probably perfectly fine prose (I adored Nguyen's "Agency as Art") I ended up despising because it reminded me so much of machine text. Content wasn't original but the structure of how it laid it out was incredibly clear, much better than Seeing Like A State.
