james' and lily's wedding was probably the last bit of happiness in this story

the fact that i know it's gonna go downhill from here on and there's nothing i can do to stop it breaks my heart

i love when sirius and remus actually just talk about their feelings

the internalised homophobia with sirius is so well described that it actually hurts to read about it

the end of year five is probably the gloomiest part of this book until the war properly starts

remus in his emo phase

i wonder if lily still teased james about the whole lumpy elephant dung thing years later

apparently it takes a fanfic to get me out of my worst reading slump ever.
fuck jk, but gotta love mskingbean89 for this masterpiece.
