Stop the way the writer goes way too much into depth about the most unnecessary things gets me but the plot twists are getting crazy 😭 I love Marian she's growing on me

Slow, and I think quite slow like we don't have to go super in depth about the rooms description. Marian Halcombe low-key iconic but I feel like this writer is poor at writing women perhaps but I have yet to see. Idk I guess it's the Victorian era so what do I expect. The old man is a bit exaggerated tho
