I did a search and I was wrong that there is no treatment. But the treatment doesn't always work. I don't think it comes in tablet form. That small of an exposure might have made her really sick but might not have been fatal. I was thinking of the NCIS episode where Zeva fell for the guy who was dying of thallium poisoning, or I think that's what it was all about.

I finished the Lee Hollis one and it made me remember why I dropped the series. The police couldn't have used the prints on the cigarette package because she broke the chain of custody by removing it from the location where she found it. Same for the bone. Thallium is absorbed by the skin, but she put the tablets in her hand with no consequence. I thought there was no antidote. She should be dead.

How did I not notice this book combine the casts of Lucy Stone and the "Poopsie" series. I hated the Poopsie characters—even the dog!
