I love how Dracula is removed from us by a degree of separation and thus seems all the more elusive and secretive. This is because the story is all told via diary entries and letters. The various people telling the story have not actually seen Dracula, or maybe they just saw a large bat.

Great so far. I laughed out loud when Dracula was carrying Harker’s luggage across the castle for him, up the stone steps. And again I laughed out loud at Harker’s anger seeing Dracula wearing a suit out of Harker’s suitcase, while scaling the castle wall upside-down.
