ive got the Artemis mission coverage on in the background while im working and its predominantly silent so every time ground control chime in out of nowhere it scares the fucking shit out of me

so far i think the world building in paolini’s scifi is so much stronger than his fantasy

really enjoying this. bits of it reminds me of the Shards of Earth trilogy and there is something very Vitari about the underlying vibe. gregorovich is also completely insane and i kinda love it. also really enjoy kira (and i suppose the xeno) as the main character

been so exhausted and simultaneously overwhelmed with workload since I got back from malta (adored it btw) (but my manuscript is due at the end of the month) that I haven't read anything since the flight home but I do keep thinking about this book. hoping I can read more tonight. on an irrelevant note my left kneecap won't stop skittering about GIRL SIT STILL

landed back in ingerland. it’s grey. the usual. also my ribs hurt from sitting so long. also loving this book
