My go-to guilty pleasure/comfort read, I can't help but wonder if Ms Picoult got trampled under an elephant herself 2/3 of the way in as the plot is suspending belief a little bit... It worrying also seems to be handling mental health issues with quite a negative slant but I will read on to see if this is a fair conclusion...
