Even while having a vague understanding of the plot, this is why I wait to see the movie, because I still get shivers when he realizes he’s not on Earth. The first person POV is so fun in sci fi. Good luck king!!!

I don’t know why everything always hits as a gut punch. Like oh I’m in another galaxy. How does that always stun me? The first person narration is amazing for this type of book. Also, I love that this is a middle school science teacher with a traumatized academic past. So valid. So very valid.
