my hollanov stocks are way up. they’re engaged and getting married in the summer which, im assuming, is only like 3 months away in universe. ilya and his therapist are doing well, the centaurs are on a win streak, life is good. i did kinda read ahead on the next chapter and i know its boutta get crazy so now im scared lol

they literally got into a fight about if they would choose the other person over hockey to which they both said yes. and if they aren’t bickering back and forth they are telling the other how much they love them so WHAT ARE WE REALLY ARGUING FOR?? “i already chose you hollander” lives were changed. mine in particular.

i somehow only read like 50 pages and cried the whole time. hollanov is really just them being mildly upset about something, saying something snarky to the other and then getting in a fight about it. mix in some depression and eating disorders and youve got this book. plus seeing the whole plane thing from ilya’s pov instead of troy did make me have to self soothe and put the book down bc the words were blurry.

thought ilya was gonna be happier in this book, somehow we went the opposite direction. the commissioner guy actually got my blood boiling. im such a shane apologist. he still hasn’t done a single thing wrong. i could truly use a whole book just about the centaurs. its like if the power of friendship was a hockey team.

only cried once so far thank god. the only thing ive heard about this book before reading is that they are crucifying shane for being a bad boyfriend but in reality, both of them are bad at communicating. the hard thing is, i’m imagining all of this for the tv show and the fact that every single line and event wont be on my screen next year is breaking my heart. i need to queen out with rose so bad its crazy
