Nooo! My faithful kindle 4 that's been with me since February 2015 is being decommissioned. Now I have to figure out which kindle to get. So you tap the screen to change page now? Can the light be turned off or is it auto-regulated? I know there will be nice things about an upgrade but ugh!

So my big problem is that I read laying down in bed, not sitting, and with my Kindle 4 (2011) I always have a thumb on the screen to support it. Can't do that with the touch screen. So how do I hold this thing now? Been looking at straps, popsockets etc but would like to keep it in a cover like I do now. Haven't found a good solution yet.
