Hi! How are you enjoying the book. I'm about halfway through and I'm finding it interesting. She is a great writer.

She is so poetic. And love her voice. She was rather funny during the lecture we heard. She read quite a bit from the book and told her story...almost a cliff version of her book. I was first in line to get my book autographed. Have a drive tomorrow so will listen to it on the trip. Learning a lot. We see a lot of red-tailed hawks where we live. I was never too interested in them before. We'll compare notes after we're both done if you want. If you look at my blog I had my picture taken with her. She's super friendly.

I will take a look at the pic - great that you saw her speak. I never thought I would enjoy a book about hawks - the way she interweaves her experiences and coping with her father's death and the training of the hawk as well as what she read is quite amazing. Enjoy listening during your drive.
