So torn. 50 Shades was my welcome to reading. I loved it, but since then, I've discovered so much more well written literature. I went back to the series out of obligation... to myself, but I'm having a hard time remembering why I fell in love. Maybe James should've left well enough alone.

So sad, I just could not finish. FSoG introduced me to the world of romance, and while I still maintain I loved the series, and it will always hold a special place in my heart, there's just so much better material out there. I tried to get into this, just for nostalgia sake, but it's played. I couldn't do it. I'm going to have to shelf it and keep it in my happy memories where my barbies live...
