The poem illsutrates how the is a far gerater darkness and worse cosnquence that arises from Christ's 2nd coming rather than the anarchy the owrld falls into prior to the coming. Made me change the way i percieve christ's coming, not only as a holy and hopeful manner, but as a dark and dangerous setting.
