Slow start into this book. Trying to remember if I have experienced that before with a CS book. Wondering if it’s maybe just the shift from the series I had been reading previously. It did take me a few chapters (yikes! Chapter 6!) to connect with Charlie and Simon.

Then I found myself laughing at, “Has it somehow escaped your attention that I’m an extremely petty man?”
