I don’t hate this book, but I’m listening to it as an audiobook, and the narrator is…questionable. He carries wildly in Valium’s between the male and female voices - trying to make the girl sound meek I guess? It’s annoying, and she comes across whiny. ☹️ The story isn’t half bad, just a bit draggy. It’s giving low-tier Mercedes Lacky.
