I am jumping back into this series, trying to remember what happened to Trip in the last book. He is just finishing his time flying p38s in Africa and is now headed to England to prepare to be staged into India/Burma. Trip is a Lt. Col now and is still as debonair a southern gentleman as always. I like how Mason shows that, despite the horrors of war, one can still be honorable.
