I AM STARTING TO BE IN LOVE!!!!

part 1 was amazing. it established the core characters and kept on being entertaining via various stories like, uhh, the whole trask story???
part 2 felt like a setup for something big cause nothing much happened except for cathy being a satanic creature and adam settling in salinas. it wasnt bad but after part 1 it felt like a drag so i hope ill get to appreciate it for what it is if it gives value to next chapters.

part 2 is so boring

incredible so far. i cant actually judge the book so far and it would be really stupid of me to do so, but no other book seemed to pull me in as quick as east of eden did (although i still cant say im really hooked). all ive read was basically about trasks so far and theres this elephant in the room whose name is the hamiltons on which i would like to know more asap
