Chapter 4 -“Before this decade is out” - This section provided an overview of the missions leading up to Apollo 11. I would have liked to see more detail in Apollo 9 and 10. But it provided good background on the Apollo 11 Astronauts and what they were thinking.
I went out and observed the moon with binoculars and part of this chapter mentioned how it looked. Very relatable.

Read through Chapter 3: First around the moon. I felt like I was in the capsule and walking with these guys every step of the way. You get insights to the personalities of each crew member and what led up to Apollo 8. I am really enjoying this book. It is not at super detail of mission reports which I like as well, but detailed enough (at least more than the Previous Gemini book I read).
