Ugh, I’m only continuing this because two of my other books are not ready at the library yet. But the protagonist, and I use the “pro” loosely, is a pick-me, desperate, non-girls girl. Why do women write other women like this? It’s awful. Hopefully she learns some sort of lesson and gets better because I’m only about 1/3rd of the way in.
