For some reason I wanted to hate this book in the beginning. Now that I’ve read it I can say this book broke me and the most healing way. The way it navigates the duality of grief and love is heartbreaking and heartwarming. To me it perfectly captures that it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
