This is a lot of fun. I didn’t know what to expect, and the last humorous novel I tried did not really work for me. But I like this. I’m also invested in the spy story, even though I’m not supposed to take much of this seriously.

Oh, so it's like THAT, is it! Like a community theatre group asked George Etherege to do something in the style of Mel Brooks' History of the World, Part 1, incorporating Tim the Enchanter's AND Roger the Shrubber's extended families, as they meet everyone from Donald E. Westlake's Dancing Aztecs, plus Krupa references and hotties. And some smart-ass got to do the novelization. Hey, I'm down with that.

I’d really love to have Royal Flash, by the same author, by now…but it hasn’t worked out. I tried 4 bookstores, no Royal Flash; rain and holidays made me reject expeditions, and I’ve put Royal Flash on order where I bought my used copy of this book. I remember the days where I couldn’t walk through a bookstore without tripping over this author’s books! Not now, apparently. Anyway, Royal Flash is “in transit”…
