And that is part one come to conclusion, and part two eager to begin, as this is the greatest of works and as he himself says in the prologue to the latter half "the best have a bit of everything." I could confer that description to the first half. Philosophy, theory, satire, critique and yet action while conversation and so on. May this never fail as it has refused to do so thus far!

I mean I'm just having a great time, I don't mind that it's going to take a sturdy second to get it done. Meandering yet engaging it kind of fixes a lot of what you might hate about epic poetry I suppose. Cervantes clearly a geek. Essentially like everyone waterbending in the pool but adult.

I mean it's more just critique as the book is satirizing and giving homage to the chivalry books of the time, but it's really just laying out all what we've read about the rules of marriage and the way men and women work in ways but sentence by sentence he weaves a beautiful critique in this section and though it's not necessarily novel to us it's so well laid out and even more unique to see that it was written over 400 years ago and to think about it all. Brilliant stuff
