This is very easy to read and quite entertaining. I have quite a few books in this series on my physical tbr and I would like to get through this year. I did actually start reading this series in 2022 with book 20 but as these are interconnected standalones it didn't affect my reading experience at all.

This is fine but I enjoyed the other Phryne Fisher novel and the short story collection I have read more. Anyway this does read like a slightly modernized Agatha Christie novel. I'm sure the author was influenced by her.
