My go to for years was Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunners Series.

You probably won't believe, but I am not a fan of re-readings (says the person who read 6 times 🫣😂
It is my last resource.

KA Merikan is not for me, i've traid many times.
Can't cope with any military plot right now. So, it's not a good time to try Point of Contact
I've read Protection by S.A. Reid and loved it 💗
But I am adding English and History: Sex, Drugs and Scottish fiction

I know, it sucks. I couldn’t find any romance appealing during that period, so I switched to thrillers for a while.

I'm just happy to have something to recommend, and even happier if you find something to get over the slump. Fingers crossed from Norway :-)
