Worldbuilding. Getting a feel for the characters. So far, both of our MC's are an intriguing puzzle. Both are beautiful in the nontraditional sense. PTSD galore. Promise meets Beck and doesn't really care for him that much. Now, Beck,on the other hand. He's a pinch away from obsessive. No stupid sex used as a filler.
